Plead guilty, and throw yourself on the mercy of the court.
No man's life or wallet is safe when the hormones of reproduction are raging.
Anyways, cheer up. In a few years, she'll be thankful when you're around to adjudicate the sibling squabbles, and then they'll get the short end of the affection stick, and you'll be the hero. At least that's how it's supposed to work.

I hope she wasn't serious. As a woman (and the mother of two boys) I have never understood the idea that it was the man's fault, seeing as it takes two to tango (unless of course, God forbid, it was a violent attack). God is the ultimate creator of life and our "control" of the process is basically wishful thinking, as witnessed by all the people "trying" to conceive and all the people "trying" not to...He's chosen this time for this child for His own purposes. It took me one month to conceive our first one and 16 months the second time. When it finally happened I realized that God was waiting for THAT particular combination to make THAT particular child. Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy and that all goes well with the new little one...Pamela in OK
Pamela, We conceived kiddo #2 intentionally. Wifey was serious in that she is at the very end of pregnancy where she is pretty uncomfortable and kind of emotional/ iritable.
I'm 17 weeks pregnant, myself. I can so relate.
The proper response should have been "Hey, *I* just wanted to cuddle. Youre the one that turned in into something else."
Zero, Sometimes you just shake your head and walk away.
The wimmens do get hormonal from time to time, don't they . . . 8^) Don't blame them too much - they put up with our crap too . . .
